Ever called the world’s top-end convertible, Rolls-Royce Corniche made a debut in 1967 named as Silver Shadow Mulliner Park Ward Drophead Coupe or Sports Saloon (for the fixed head coupe).

Though in 1980 the four door sedan, the base of Corniche body had changed to Silver Spirit /Spur, Corniche production was continued on the Silver Shadow body basis to make. However, in this series III Corniche, the whole mechanism including the electronically controlled engine, suspension and air conditioning system are levelled with 90’s contemporary Rolls-Royce technology. Thus you can enjoy both the sleek and classical body style and the modern comfort ride at the same time, which rapidly drawing attention recently in Japan as well as in overseas.

In the mid-1990’s the Mulliner Park Ward factory in Willesden near London moved long distance to the Crew factory of Rolls-Royce Motors. At that time, aged skilled workers refused to move from London livelihood, which pushed the good old craftsmanship away to be no more available. Thus it is said that Corniche in this era is the last model in which the British coach builder’s craftsmanship can be seen.

This 1991 Corniche III is a private import. Mohair soft top was optional, and the color scheme is classy as well. One of the best Corniche you can find.
