Rolls-Royce Phantom VI is one of the cars that represents Wakui Museum “Heritage”. This new addition to our inventory is such a splendid example.
Phantom VI was announced at London Motor Show in 1968. It had been on the throne of the motor cars until the last car was produced in 1991. Phantom VI progressed from V, being the last to have the Silver Cloud’s era classic mechanism and construction. The last of good old coach built Rolls Royce car.
H.J. Mulliner and Park Ward emerged in 1961 to be called Mulliner Park Ward, the sole Rolls-Royce subsidiary coachbuilder. Body is all aluminium, upholstery finished with top quality Connoly Hide and walnut, both are even better than ones used for the contemporary Silver Shadow.
All the Phantom V and VI are bespoke by order. Known as the car for the head of state, the royals including British Queen or the super rich class on the globe, which clearly explains the character of this car.
This particular 1972 Phantom VI had been used daily as a chauffeur-driven. HDD navigation system and the rearview camera were installed by us to ease the driving. Fully restored relatively long ago and had been meticulously maintained. Both the ivory colored body and the upholstery are superb.
