The six-cylinder OHV 3.5L is the first of "Derby Bentley" car appeared in 1932, produced by Rolls-Royce motors who acquired Bentley Motors. This model was called "Silent sports car", became popular as a high-end British owner driver's car. Elegance poured into Bentley's sports car tradition.
As an owner driver’s car, many Bentley cars wore 2 door Coupe or Drophead Coupe bodies of various coachbuilders. Passion for speed and elegance blossomed on Derby Bentley like tailored jacket suits in the 1930s.
 
Fully restored a few years ago, receiving the overdrive added new prop shaft to reach 150km/h top speed. Discovered in Japan by Mr. Shotaro Kobayashi, a well known car critic and editor. It was in a collection of a prominent Japanese collector for a long time having good active records of rallies and concourses in Japan.
