Reborn classic cars named BESPOKE
Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow revival project
We handle the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow with particular care as it is a symbolic model of our “Bespoke” restoration service which brings the car to life again in pristine condition.
With the thorough modernization of mechanisms in 1966, this model became a great hit and the number of cars produced surpassed the total cars manufactured and sold during the first 60 years of Bentley existence. Although it has a beautiful modern classic car appearance with great handling and without any driving inconveniences even in today’s current traffic environment, most Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow cars are difficult to find and drive in excellent condition because of the Citroen’s patent based suspension and their precise and elaborate detail making it hard to get them serviced and maintained adequately.
Such cars in poor condition that could not get servicing or maintenance even by the manufacturer or dealer, were finally saved by the Wakui Museum, which thoroughly overhauls to restore them back to pristine condition. Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow (sister car with different grill is the Bentley T-Series) becomes what is later named the Corniche and is available as a two-door coupe or convertible.
At the Wakui Museum, cars get entirely disassembled to be repaired, restored and serviced, through the techniques of our master mechanics. They remove old paint and reapply a new color, as well as a new interior. For exterior and interior, you have the option to leave the vintage textures according to your taste. Currently. European car manufacturers restore classic cars themselves to put on sale for several tens of millions of yen. Under these circumstances, we would like to propose to revitalize the classic car market in the Far East by capitalizing on our passion and enthusiasm for restoring vintage automobiles. Complete sample cars are available now. Come and take a look.
